To enrol into a Pilates Training Program with VIVA Education you are required to complete the following form, select a payment plan appropriate for your chosen course.

VIVA Pilates offers numerous ways to assist students financing their chosen Pilates course. Students have the option to pay course fees in larger monthly instalments over a shorter period of time, or at smaller instalments over an extended period of time.

Refund Policy:

VIVA Education gives all students a 7 day cooling off period, from receipt of their submitted enrolment form. If the applicant decides to take advantage of the cooling off period any course fees paid will be refunded minus a $150 withdrawal fee. After the cooling off period no refunds are allowed on course fees paid unless exceptional circumstances can be substantiated in which any refund will be considered by management on a case-by-case basis. Exceptional circumstances include debilitating illness, bereavement or tragedy with family.

VIVA advises all students to select their course carefully, as we cannot accept responsibility for changes in student’s personal circumstances or work commitments, which may occur before or after the commencement of the course.

Course Date Changes:

Changes to course dates are only available 6 weeks prior to a course start date. A flat-rate reschedule fee of $300 applies to all Matwork and Reformer courses.

There will be no reimbursements or schedule changes able to be made to courses within 6 weeks of the course start date. Full fees will apply.

If you enrol within 6 weeks of the course start please ensure you select your course dates carefully as full fees will apply.

In the event of exceptional circumstances, a refund will be considered by management on a case by case basis. Resit Fees:

If you need to make up hours due to illness or change of circumstances during the course, it is strongly advised that make-up hours are done as soon as possible after they are missed. This allows students to cover the missed material prior to returning to the course. Please note that this is done in private review at the student’s expense at a cost of $75per hour. Students have six months to make up any hours missed. If they exceed this timeline, the course is forfeited and the entire course must be retaken in order to examine and certify.

Course Cost Inclusions:

Attendance for 4 scheduled contact days of certified course. Student manual plus course log books & assessments. Up to two assessment attempts for any one assessment are included (after which additional fees apply). Assessment re-sit fees of $150 (only applies after two attempts at any one assessment)

Course Assessment:

A variety of course assessment methods are used for VIVA Education. In order to successfully complete a full course and be rewarded the certified qualification all participants must; · Attend all scheduled contact days · Complete observation and practical log books at a VIVA Pilates Studio or at an approved work experience studio, or studio of student’s choice in agreement with VIVA · Pass all practical and written assessments including video assessment

Use of Course Materials:

All materials, tools and information made available by the VIVA Pilates Education to course participants remain the property of VIVA Pilates Studios. VIVA Pilates Education “Trade Marks” or other “Identifications” must not be used with out prior consent of VIVA Pilates Education. Sharing of course manuals or content is strictly prohibited. You are unable to print or photocopy any part of the VIVA Pilates Education or manual, this includes printing and distributing a copy of exercises to clients.

Certification:

You have 24months from your course end date to complete your post course requirements for certification. At the end of 24 months your course will have expired and you are required to re-enrol in the course in order to gain certification. FITNESS AUSTRALIA REGISTRATION: Fitness Australia approve the education delivered within the Scope of Practice for Registered Exercise Professionals and have allocated CECs accordingly to this program. Fitness Australia however don’t recognise the title of becoming a Pilates Instructor as referred to within this program.

Viva Pilates Education Critical Terms

All defined terms used in these critical terms adopt the definitions used in the Instructor Education Standard Terms (August 2022).

You:

1. warrant that you have notified us in advance of any special requirements/needs you may have that may be relevant to your Participation including:

(a) any physical condition that may impact upon your Participation, including any injuries; and

(b) any mental or other health condition that may impact upon your Participation;

2. warrant that you will conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful toward Viva, other Participants and members of the public;

3. warrant that you will not damage the property of Viva, the Host, the other Participants or otherwise damage the Venue;

4. warrant that you have truthfully, accurately and completely filled in the Enrolment Form;

5. acknowledge and agree that the Education Service may involve the provision to you of education, training and artistic materials. As an aspect of such education and training, you will receive access to intellectual property that is owned by Viva or by its Related Entities and delivered under licence by Viva;

6. acknowledge and agree that you are licensed to use the intellectual property of Viva and its Related Entities only insofar as such use is for your own personal, educational and non-commercial use;

7. acknowledge and agree that you are not licensed or authorised to reproduce, commercialise, copy or deliver to any third party any materials (physical or electronic) comprising the Education Services (with the exception of works by other authors referenced by us) in which Viva owns the Intellectual Property Rights or which those rights are delivered under licence by Viva;

8. acknowledge and agree that any use of the intellectual property of Viva and its Related Entities outside of your own personal, educational and non-commercial use will constitute an infringement of the Intellectual Property Rights of Viva or its Related Entities, unless the prior written consent of Viva or the relevant Related Entity has been obtained for such use;

9. acknowledge and agree that it is the Participants responsibility to complete all assessment items, including hours required for observation and practical log books;

10. acknowledge and agree that you have 24 months from the scheduled end date of your enrolled Education Service to complete any requirements for registration by Fitness Australia; and

11. acknowledge and agree that we do not provide a refund of Fees for change of mind or change in personal circumstances; and

12. acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood the Instructor Education Standard Terms (August 2022).
